Holy Toy Fair Batman– Diamond Select Toys has wowed again with a brand new set of Batman Classic TV Series products! (They also have a bunch of great collectibles inspired by Batman: The Animated Series and The New Batman Adventures, but we’ll talk about those in a later feature– stay tuned!) Let’s take a look at what’s coming up for us Bat-fans from Diamond Select!
Though we’ve previously discussed the upcoming busts of The Penguin and Catwoman, New York Toy Fair offered our first glimpse at two more busts in the Batman Classic TV Series set: Mr. Freeze and Batusi Batman! We also got a look at the Batgirl and Egghead busts that will be featured later in the line (though since the figures are still in development, we weren’t able to get any photos yet.) We’re proud to report that all six busts are on the way and should be out before the end of the year!
On a more immediate note, you can expect to have new places to store your most valuable treasures this spring (provided that your treasures are cookies and coins) when Diamond Select releases their Batman Classic TV Series cookie jar and Joker bust bank (a great companion to the already released Batman and Robin bust banks.) They’re both sure to fit wonderfully along with any collector’s 60s Batman memorabilia (or, in the case of the cookie jar, in the kitchens of hungry Bat-fans everywhere!)
Finally, the NYTF 2015 pièce de résistance for any avid Batman Classic TV Series collector is the Barbara Gordon/Batgirl statue based on Yvonne Craig’s iconic performance. Batgirl will be the first in a line of Batman Classic TV Series statues by Diamond Select, and should be available this summer!
Here at From the Batcave we’re incredibly excited about all that Diamond Select Toys has to offer in 2015, and we hope you are too! Stay tuned to our New York Toy Fair 2015 coverage to get a look at Diamond Select’s upcoming Batman: The Animated Series and The New Batman Adventures products!
