Last summer’s Mortal Kombat-style DCU fighting game Injustice: Gods Among Us was a smash success, spawning an Ultimate Edition, a comic book line, and more, and we’ve got great news for fans of the series in any of its incarnations. DC revealed at WonderCon that the popular video game would be receiving a sequel in the near future (though not too near– I’ve heard speculations that put the game at roughly 2015.) Hopefully the decision to hold off on the release means that we’ll be getting a next-generation Injustice, and honestly I wouldn’t be surprised if it ends up as a next-gen exclusive, given its later launch.
