The Injustice: Gods Among Us Collector’s Edition doesn’t come with very much, but the items it does include are pretty nice. (Note: this is a look at the physical items included with the Injustice: Gods Among Us Collector’s Edition. For our review of the game itself, click here.) The Injustice: Gods Among Us Collector’s Edition contains the following:
Also included (but not pictured) are the Game Disc, and codes to download Justice League: Doom and New 52 Skins for Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman. The 13″ Statue is a nice piece (although, let’s be honest, Batman shouldn’t be losing), and the comic is a solid introduction to the alternate continuity that the game seeks to create. I’ll be reviewing Justice League: Doom separately at a later date, so keep an eye out.
I’d say that overall, the Injustice: Gods Among Us Collector’s Edition is a good find for the $60 it’s currently running for, especially if you like fighting games (or if you haven’t seen Doom, which is a pretty Batman-based Justice League movie that still will cost you at least around $10 on its own.) That said, if you’re planning on adding a lot of DLC to your Injustice experience, you might be better off with the Ultimate Edition, as the 6 DLC characters cost $5 a pop and there’s a multitude of extra skins packs available (and all of comes with the Ultimate Edition.) Still, if you’re like me and love having some cool Batman stuff to display, the Injustice: Gods Among Us Collector’s Edition is for you. The Injustice: Gods Among Us Collector’s Edition is available on Xbox 360 and PS3.
