After Gotham‘s chilling return for the second half of season 2 lastnight, there’s no better time to take a look at possibly the best Gotham collectible available– DC Collectibles’ James Gordon Statue. Sculpted in intricate detail by Phil Ramirez, this 13 inch statue captures everyone’s favorite GCPD detective in intricate detail.

The statue is based on Ben McKenzie’s portrayal of James Gordon in season 1 of Gotham, and does a wonderful job of representing the character’s iconic appearance. Down to his carefully-replicated badge, there’s not a hair out of place on this iteration of Detective Gordon. From the slight wrinkles on his shirt and jacket to the notches on his belt, every detail of Jim Gordon’s appearance is faithfully and realistically recreated on this statue, creating the overall impression that Gordon could practically stroll off your shelf and track down the latest crime that’s befallen the city of Gotham.

Standing atop a base that depicts Gotham‘s logo, this statue is a must-have for any fan of the show. It’s a high-quality, visually masterful addition to any Bat-fan, Gothamite, or DC Comics buff’s collection, and it feels right at home on the shelf beside other quality DC Collectibles pieces like their other Gotham item, the GCPD Badge Replica.

The Gotham TV Series James Gordon Statue by DC Collectibles retails for $129.95, and can be found at Shop DC Entertainment, your local comic book shop, and other online retailers. If you’re like me, you won’t want to miss this excellent tribute to the latest TV addition to the Batman mythos.
