Unarguably the highlight of this year’s New York Comic-Con was the DC Comics and Entertainment Booth (as well as DC’s giveaways, of course!) The booth itself, situated perfectly among the bustle of one of NYCC’s several entrances, had pretty much everything a Bat-fan like myself could hope for. In celebration of the 75th Anniversary of Batman, DC showcased the Caped Crusader’s legacy in a variety of ways. First of all, hanging high above their booth was a massive Batman symbol, a beacon not unlike Gotham’s Batsignal itself in its power to beckon fans of the Bat from across the crowded Javits Center.

Beneath this tribute, on display at the booth were the Batsuits of all five major motion picture Batmen– Michael Keaton (Batman 1989 & Batman Returns), Val Kilmer (Batman Forever), George Clooney (Batman & Robin), Christian Bale (The Dark Knight Trilogy), and Ben Affleck (Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice.) The statue of Christian Bale’s Batman that was featured at the end of The Dark Knight Rises was also prominently featured at DC’s booth. The booth also featured playable demos of DC’s MOBA Infinite Crisis and the upcoming video game Lego Batman 3: Beyond Gotham. (You can check out our Lego Batman 3 coverage here.) The last thing on showcase from DC was the company’s vast action figure line– you can see our photos of the figures below:
