Lego Batman 3 E3 Details

What’s the Joker up to this time?

We got another look at Lego Batman 3: Beyond Gotham at E3 earlier today courtesy of GameSpot, who streamed a special look at the upcoming game. The stream featured a talk with Arthur Parsons, Director of TT Games, who walked the audience through gameplay of Lego Batman 3 and addressed some of the exciting things we’re going to see in the game. For example, we were given a glimpse at new characters (like Plastic Man, Cheetah, Bat-Mite, Firefly, and more!), new suits for Batman, Robin, and Cyborg (the suit-switching mechanic looks a lot more fluid than in Lego Batman 2 and Lego Marvel), and an advance preview of some of the locations w’ll see in the game.

Parsons noted that we’ll get to explore “places that have never been seen before in a video game,” including the Lantern Worlds, the Justice League Watchtower, the Hall of Justice, the Hall of Doom, and a better look at the Batcave. He also teased that there is a “very special minifigure” that will be available when you pre-order the game, though he couldn’t reveal exactly what character it portrayed just yet.

Check out some screenshots from the stream in the gallery below (including our first look at some of the alternate suits, characters, and locations I mentioned above) and be sure to to like From the Batcave on Facebook and follow us on Twitter and Tumblr to get the scoop first!
