You may not know it, but Tim Burgard, a professional storyboard artist who worked on such films as Thor, X-Men Origins: Wolverine, and Rise of the Planet of the Apes, also contributed to Batman and Robin. While it unfortunately isn’t reflected in the film, some of his storyboards and concept art (such as his costume design for Poison Ivy, pictured above) potentially could’ve improved the insane misfire that was Batman and Robin (that is, if you believe anything could have saved the movie.) To see more of Burgard’s art, and hear how he almost got fired from the movie for a sketch of Batgirl, head over to Film Sketchr.
