To clarify, first and foremost, no. Though Comic Book Movie, among other sites, seems to believe it might be, the image above is not Ben Affleck in the Batsuit, at least according to Mark Hughes of Forbes and BatmanOnFilm, who posted the following yesterday on Twitter:
That black and white photo on IMDB is a fake, folks. Not the real batsuit, just a manip.

To be fair, Hughes could be wrong, but he’s definitely got a bit more credibility than whoever posted the grainy pic to imdb…
On a similar note, the above photo, originally posted to facebook by a page called Superheromovies, is getting passed around on reddit and other sites, but ultimately has also been revealed as a manipulation of the following picture of Sam Raimi:
So with that, we’re 0 for 2 as far as images of the actual Affleck Batsuit. Clearly, with two “leaks” in the past few days, the natives are getting restless around here, which prompts the question: “When will we see the actual Batsuit?” At the very least, some new details have arisen today.
Design & Trend, addressing the rumors, provided some new info that Jennifer Garner, Affleck’s wife, revealed to Glamour. The actress was cited as telling the magazine:
“I have seen photos of Ben as Batman. I haven’t seen the real thing yet, but I have a feeling the cape will take up too much room in our closet and shove all my things out of the way!”
While this only adds to what we’ve heard about the suit in the past from sources close to Affleck (including Kevin Smith and Matt Damon), there’s still unfortunately no word on when WB will actually release images of the costume. With any luck, though, we’re getting closer…
UPDATE: Ben Affleck’s Batsuit has, at long last, been revealed (along with the Batmobile!!) check it out here.
