Jada Pinkett Smith took to her Facebook page recently to express her excitement about working on Fox’s Gotham, but in the process may have accidentally revealed something about the show. Here’s the post:
To my Facebook family
Last night, I decided to accept the role of Fish Mooney, who is the sadistic villain in the upcoming Batman prequel, Gotham, for Fox TV. I’ve committed to a year to work alongside a very talented cast, a super cool, creative and talented head writer and an extraordinary director. This one…is going to be funnnnnn!
Stay tuned:)

Did you catch what may have been leaked there? It flew past me the first time too, I’ll admit, but upon closer reading, it becomes clearer: ” I’ve committed to a year to work [on Gotham].” Could this mean that, as per my previous suspicions (read the ending for what I’m referring to), Pinkett Smith’s Fish Mooney may not live very long in the cutthroat world of Gotham? It would seem so, which could mean that we’re seeing a Penguin eat a Fish potentially even before the end of the first season.
