Gotham has yet another villain, and it’s Jada Pinkett Smith. According to Deadline, who broke the news this morning, Pinkett Smith will play Fish Mooney, who was earlier revealed to be the young Penguin’s boss. Deadline had the following to say about Mooney:

“[she is] an imposing, hotheaded and notoriously sadistic gangster boss and nightclub owner with street smarts and almost extra-sensory abilities to read people like an open book who is not one to be crossed.”

Pinkett Smith, whose previous credits include The Matrix series and Collateral, will certainly be interesting in the role, though (from the way I see it) anyone who works above Oswald Cobblepot probably doesn’t have good chances for survival…
