The Latest on the “Batman vs. Superman” Batsuit

Well, we can add another to the list of people who not only have seen the new Batsuit, but also have given it glowing reviews. First there was Kevin Smith, who said the suit looked like “a very familiar Batman” and that it was “phenomenal, and made me happy as hell.” Then we had Jennifer Garner, Ben Affleck’s wife, who called the suit “unbelievably cool, a total reinvention.” So who is it this time?
None other than Matt Damon, longtime friend of collaborator of Affleck, who revealed to MTV at the premiere of Monuments Men that he too has seen the BvS Batsuit. His description of it certainly reinforced Smith and Garner’s statements:

“I have seen a picture. It’s excellent. And I’ve talked to him about the storyline, and it’s great.”

He also reassured Bat-fans who might still be afraid of a Daredevil repeat from Affleck:

“Look, I’ve known him for thirty-something years. I’d be the first guy being like, ‘Buddy, what are you doing?’ But I think the movie is going to be great.”

According to batman-news.com, we should expect the first official photos of Ben Affleck’s Batsuit around the end of the month, but until then, we’ll just have to take Damon’s word (among others) that it will not disappoint.
